Hangcha autonomous forklifts can travel at speeds of up to 20 km/h, adapt to changing weather and lighting, interpret traffic lights and road signs, and anticipate obstacles along the route.

This awareness helps maintain safe, efficient material flow in shared environments where people and vehicles work side by side.

The forklifts can also accept natural-language work instructions, detect trucks from up to 20 meters away, match each truck to the appropriate handling task, and autonomously unload at loading docks and from side-opening wing-body trucks—even when conditions fall outside a standard operating setup.
