Hangzhou, China – 20 August 2026 – A TÜV Rheinland delegation led by CEO Dr. Michael Fübi visited Hangcha's Hengfan Science and Technology Park. Mr. Jin Huashu, General Manager of Hangcha Group, welcomed the delegation for strategic discussions on technology trends, regulatory developments, and global market expansion.
Since 2008, TÜV Rheinland has been Hangcha's key certification partner, providing CE, cTUVus, functional safety, and cybersecurity services – helping Hangcha products meet international market access requirements and giving customers confidence in the safety and reliability of Hangcha equipment.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on the evolution of industrial vehicle technology, upgrades to global regulatory standards, and the opportunities and challenges facing Chinese manufacturers expanding overseas – further solidifying their shared commitment to strategic cooperation.
Mr. Jin shared Hangcha's recent progress. Hangcha is driving its green, intelligent, and global strategy, now offering a full range of new-energy products from 0.6 to 48 tonnes. In 2025, Hangcha's intelligent logistics business generated nearly CNY1 billion in revenue. At CeMAT ASIA 2025, Hangcha launched the X1 logistics humanoid robot, followed by the LogiMind embodied AI model and five autonomous forklifts at its July 2026 AI DAY.
On the manufacturing front, Hangcha's Thailand plant is now operational, and its new battery factory in France opened in July.
Looking ahead, both sides see significant opportunities to expand their collaboration into certification for new-energy and intelligent logistics solutions – including autonomous forklifts and humanoid robots – as Hangcha continues to bring more innovative products to global markets. TÜV Rheinland's expertise will be instrumental in helping Hangcha navigate emerging compliance requirements and set new benchmarks for safety and performance.
